When Documents Pile Up
Anchora was founded in Khon Kaen to offer something simple and useful: straightforward information about retirement systems and practical help getting your documents in order.

How Anchora Came to Be
Anchora started from a straightforward observation. A lot of people approaching retirement — whether they spent their careers in Thailand or moved here from elsewhere — find themselves holding a stack of documents they don't fully understand, with no clear idea of what to keep, what to act on, or where to look for reliable information.
Official sources exist, but they are often written in dense language and spread across multiple departments and websites. The gap between "I know I should understand this" and "I actually do understand this" is where most people get stuck.
Anchora was set up to help close that gap — not by acting as advisors or professionals in regulated fields, but by doing the groundwork: explaining general concepts in plain English, helping people assemble an organised document file, and then staying alongside those who want ongoing support.
We are based in Khon Kaen and operate primarily across northeast Thailand, though we work with clients throughout the country via remote sessions. The name reflects what we try to provide: a point of stability when things feel less than certain.
Our Mission
To make general retirement information accessible and to give individuals a well-organised personal document file they can rely on.
Our Approach
Low-pressure. Methodical. Transparent about what we do and don't cover. We follow the same structured process with every client so that the output is consistent and reliable.
Our Scope
General information, document organisation, and educational support only. We do not provide financial advice, legal counsel, or any service requiring a professional operating licence.

How We Work
Our Working Standards
These aren't aspirations — they're the practical norms we hold ourselves to with every client engagement.
Client Confidentiality
All personal information and documents shared with us are handled with full discretion. We do not share client details with third parties.
Structured Processes
Every engagement follows a consistent framework with defined steps, checklists, and documented outputs — so clients always know what to expect.
Accuracy Over Speed
We take the time to present information carefully and correctly. If we are unsure about a detail, we say so and direct clients to official sources.
Clear Scope of Service
We are explicit about what Anchora covers and what it doesn't. Clients are never left uncertain about the nature of the support they're receiving.
Regular Content Review
Our educational materials and process guides are reviewed periodically to keep them current. Retirement systems and official resources do change over time.
Responsive Communication
We acknowledge all enquiries within one business day and provide a clear timeline for any follow-up work agreed during sessions.
Document Organisation and Retirement Information Support in Thailand
Retirement involves navigating a range of official systems — pension arrangements, residency documentation, health cover registration, property records, and more. Each of these areas has its own timeline, renewal cycle, and set of relevant forms. Keeping track of all of it is not complicated in principle, but it does require a consistent approach and a well-organised personal file.
Anchora works with individuals who want a clearer picture of how retirement systems generally operate, and who want their own documents arranged in a logical, accessible order. We are not a financial planning firm, a law firm, or a government-registered advisory service. We are an information and organisation support service — a practical resource for people who want to understand the landscape and keep their paperwork tidy.
Our Foundations Information Course covers the broad shape of retirement systems — how they are typically structured, what official bodies oversee them, and where to find current, authoritative information. The Records Set-Up Support service focuses on building a personal document file from scratch: indexed, checked, and organised around the client's actual situation. For those who prefer ongoing support, the Continuing Organisation Companion provides periodic sessions throughout the year to keep everything current.
We work in English and operate primarily from our Khon Kaen office, with remote sessions available for clients elsewhere in Thailand. Our service is appropriate for both Thai nationals and long-term expatriates who want to feel more at ease with their retirement-related paperwork.
