This page explains what cookies are, which ones Anchora uses, and how you can control them. We try to keep this straightforward — cookies themselves aren't complicated, and neither is this explanation.

2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active — cannot be disabled
These cookies are needed for the website to work. Without them, basic functions like the cookie consent banner wouldn't operate correctly.
- cookieConsent — stores your cookie preferences in localStorage. Duration: until cleared.
Analytics Cookies
Optional
These help us understand how visitors use the website — which pages are viewed most, how long people stay, and where they come from. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _gid) — page view and session tracking. Duration: up to 2 years.
Marketing Cookies
Optional
These are used to track visitors across websites so that relevant advertising can be shown. Anchora does not currently run advertising campaigns, but these cookies may be set by third-party platforms if integrated.
- Facebook Pixel — conversion tracking if enabled. Duration: up to 90 days.
- Google Ads — conversion tracking if enabled. Duration: up to 90 days.
Preference Cookies
Optional
These remember your choices on the website — such as language settings or display preferences — so you don't have to set them each visit.
- Language/region settings — if applicable. Duration: up to 1 year.

4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services. We have no direct control over these cookies — they are governed by those third parties' own privacy policies.

- Google Maps — embedded map on our homepage. May set cookies for functionality.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — only if marketing cookies are accepted and campaigns are active.
5. Cookie Duration
Session Cookies
Deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for temporary state during a single visit.
Persistent Cookies
Remain on your device for a set period (days, months, or up to 2 years depending on type). Deleted on expiry or when you clear cookies.
6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can control and delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Instructions for the most common browsers are below.
Google Chrome
1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right → Settings
2. Go to Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
3. Choose your preferred setting or use See all site data and permissions to delete specific cookies
Mozilla Firefox
1. Click the three-bar menu → Settings
2. Select Privacy & Security
3. Under Cookies and Site Data, click Manage Data to remove specific cookies or Clear Data to clear all
Safari
1. Open Safari → Preferences (or Settings on iOS)
2. Click Privacy
3. Click Manage Website Data to view and remove individual site cookies
Microsoft Edge
1. Click the three-dot menu → Settings
2. Go to Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
3. Toggle blocking options or click See all cookies and site data to manage individual entries
On mobile browsers, cookie settings are typically found in the app's settings or in your device's browser settings menu. Note that blocking all cookies may affect the basic functionality of some websites.
7. Your Rights
- You can withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time using the toggles on this page.
- You can delete all stored cookies through your browser settings.
- Disabling analytics cookies means we lose insight into how the site is used, but it does not affect your access to any content.
- Disabling essential cookies is not possible through this page, but you can clear them via your browser — note this will reset your consent preferences too.
